Healing Art Project Tour
February 11, 7:00 p.m, Main entrance, Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook
The Healing Art project was initiated by Dianne Noseworthy, a resident of Humber Village, and is going into its third year. Each year Visual Arts students submit artwork to be placed at the hospital. The first year it was juried and the second year it was a second year class project. They must include a statement about why their artwork is appropriate as ‘healing art’. During the time the work is on view visitors and staff at the hospital can vote on their favourite artwork. At the end of the year, a student receives a people’s choice award of $500.
Join us for a guided tour of this year's artwork.
The tour numbers will be capped at 15 so please contact: Charlotte Jones, Grenfell Campus Art Gallery, 709 637 6209 or cjones@grenfell.mun.ca
