Register for Engage Memorial Symposium 2025: Practice and Place

While community and public partners are a valued part of public engagement, and will participate as presenters and panelists during various sessions, the focus of the content and learning objectives of this year's event will be most relevant to Memorial-based attendees. 

The Symposium will be especially useful for Memorial graduate students, faculty & ASMs, and staff.

Registration Options:

Option A: In person

$100, plus 6.90$ service charge and applicable taxes (includes lunches, snacks and on-site parking at Signal Hill Campus)

Option B: Virtual attendance

 

Free (includes livestream to all programming, except the “Collecting and Communicating the Evidence of Impact” workshop.)

Both registration types include both days of the symposium: one-day registration is not available. Links to attend virtually will be sent to all registrants – in-person and virtual – prior to the event.

Student Registration Support:

A limited number of complimentary passes are available for currently enrolled Memorial students who might not otherwise be able to attend the symposium. If this is something you’d like to avail of, please email engagement@mun.ca for instructions.

Journal Vouchers:

Registration for individuals and groups may be paid by internal Journal Voucher using a departmental FOAPAL as long as it is paid using Memorial funds and not recovered from the individual(s) attending in any way. Please contact engagement@mun.ca for more information. *this option is exempt from HST

Refund Policy:

Registration can be canceled and fees refunded any time before May 16, 2025; to request a refund, contact engagement@mun.ca. Please note that the service fee of $6.90 is non-refundable.
