Participedia School on Transnational Democratic Innovations
Participedia, in partnership with Memorial University, the University of the Western Cape, McMaster University, the Coady Institute, Federal University of Minas Gerais, Innovation for Policy Foundation, Missions Publiques, Democracy International, and a consortium of leading practitioners and scholars, has launched the next Participedia School on Transnational Democratic Innovations!
This summer/winter school will take place in person on June 10-15, 2024 simultaneously at two decentralized locations: Memorial University (St. John’s, Canada) and the University of the Western Cape (Cape Town, South Africa).
Participants can register to attend in person at all locations until spots are filled (50 spaces per campus). All food and drink during the program will be provided to attendees.
Limited registration waiver scholarships are available on a ‘needs basis’ and can be indicated in the registration form.
Once registered, you will be emailed a secure payment processing link and further information regarding next steps. Please note that our registration cap is 50 people per location, sign up early to secure your spot.

Some local presentations and panel discussions will be open to members of the broader public to attend and will be webcast for online participation.
