Physics 1021: Introductory Physics II
1021 Introductory Physics II is an algebra based introduction to oscillations, fluids, wave motion, electricity and magnetism, and circuits.
LH: 3; normally there will be six laboratory sessions per semester
OR: tutorial or problem sessions may be held on weeks when no laboratory is scheduled
PR: PHYS 1020 or 1050 and Mathematics 1090 or 1000
Physics 1021 is an algebra based introduction to oscillations, fluids, wave motion, electricity and magnetism, and circuits. This course requires basic algebra and trigonometry skills and is more directed towards students in Life Science programs or those students who have no background in high school physics and who may wish to go onto Physics 1051.
