Research - Condensed Matter Theory

Dr. Ivan Saika-Voivod uses computer simulation to study thermodynamics and dynamics of supercooled liquids, focussing on aspects of crystal nucleation and the glass transition. Systems studied include silica and other tetrahedral liquids, colloids, Lennard-Jones liquid and nanoclusters.
