Nursing Students Shine as Academic All-Canadians

Nursing students are multi-talented! This past year, 82 student-athletes from across Memorial University earned Academic All-Canadian honours — with nursing well-represented!

The award was presented this week to varsity athletes from eight faculties and schools, representing 10 different teams, who achieved an average of 80 percent or higher while competing at the highest level.

A special congratulations to our second-year nursing students Sydney Schram and Kendra Schram, along with fourth-year student Abby Evans (women's soccer), and first-year nursing student Courtney Hodder (women's volleyball), who transitioned to nursing after excelling in the Faculty of Science.

Pictured here with Dr. April Pike, Dean, Faculty of Nursing, we are incredibly proud of their hard work and accomplishments!
