Located within MUNFLA’s Reading Room (ED4039) is a small reference collection which includes:

1. Various folksong titles and song books.
   
   
2. Reference works such as the Encyclopedia of Newfoundland and Labrador (ENL), Dictionary of Newfoundland English (DNE), E. R. Seary’s Family Names of the Island of Newfoundland, and various tale/motif indexes (Aarne/Thompson/Baughman), among other titles.
   
   
3. Select MUN Folklore and Language Publications (MUNFLP) titles, Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) booklets, and published works that cite MUNFLA collections.
   

Please note that this collection is strictly NON-CIRCULATING. However, you are welcome to come enjoy titles onsite in our Reading Room during opening hours.
