Students are able to take up to a maximum of two courses in other departments in line with their special focus of study.

Students wishing to take such courses as part of their program must:

• seek approval of the Director of Studies;
• maintain a grade of B, the lowest permitted by the School of Graduate Studies (this applies to courses in other Faculties).

Graduate students in other departments are free to enrol in Humanities courses.
