How to get here?
By air: The St. John's International Airport's code is YYT. The airport receives provincial, national, and international flights. Several flights arrive from Toronto and Halifax daily.
By Land: In order to reach St. John's from out of province you must first cross the Cabot Strait. Marine Atlantic operates a car ferry service. However, the drive from Port aux Basque (ferry terminal) to St. John's is approx 12 hours. During the summer months there is also a ferry service to Argentia, Newfoundland which is approximately 2 hours from St. John's. Both ferries leave from North Sydney, Nova Scotia.
