Electives for Residents Outside of Radiology
The Discipline of Radiology at Memorial University is a great learning environment and residents receive excellent hands on experience and teaching. Our department size is small and there is a close teaching relationship between staff and residents.
There are 36 teaching faculty located throughout our three teaching hospitals and other faculty in centres throughout Newfoundland. The resident/faculty ratio is 14:36. Rotations include GI radiology, GU radiology, chest and cardiac radiology, skeletal radiology, neuroradiology, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, CT Scanning, MR imaging, ultrasound, pediatric radiology, mammography, and emergency.
