Postgraduate

Residents from multiple postgraduate programs (such as Internal Medicine and Pathology) can elect to have rotations in Medical or Radiation Oncology. Opportunities exist to spend time in the clinic or inpatient service. There are many rounds and tumor boards that residents are encouraged to attend during their rotation. Residents from other medical schools are welcome to visit Memorial University for an elective in Oncology.

Residents can be supervised by Faculty within the Discipline for their research studies. These projects are often presented at local resident research events and conferences.

Faculty strive for excellence in teaching and several members hold key leadership roles in Medical Education. Resident participation in medical education scholarly activity is encouraged and supported.
