Free Public Conference on Cancer and Precision Medicine

The Atlantic Cancer Consortium Patient Advisory Committee led by Sevtap Savas, PhD. 

Atlantic Canadians are invited to Cancer is Personal: Humanizing Precision Medicine in Atlantic Canada, a free, virtual and public conference on Saturday, March 15, from 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. (NDT).

This event is an opportunity to hear patient and family stories, and learn about precision medicine in cancer treatment, clinical trials, and medical and psychosocial support programs available in Atlantic provinces. The speakers will also discuss the impact of advocacy in shaping health care policy in Atlantic Canada. Featured speakers include patients, caregivers, health care providers, scientists, advocates and special guest Darrell Fox.
