Undergraduate Education
Our 6 week Obstetrical and Gynecological clerkship program is a core rotation for our undergraduate program leading to the degree of Doctor of Medicine at Memorial University. During this time, our students gain invaluable experience in areas of obstetrical care, early pregnancy complications, labor and delivery, reproductive endocrinology and fertility, contraceptive counseling, general gynecology, cervical screening, gynecology oncology, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and gender diverse care. Our students gain this exposure through hands on learning in a clinical setting, inpatient care, labor and delivery, the emergency department and the operating room.
Our goal is to train our students to be well rounded physicians with a strong knowledge in this unique area of medicine and to provide their future patients with the utmost care and respect.
