Goals

The mission of Memorial University’s Emergency Medicine Enhanced Skills Residency Program is to produce Emergency Physicians who are competent to practice the full spectrum of family medicine and emergency medicine in any setting, from rural and remote sites to tertiary teaching hospitals.

The goal of the Program is aligned with the vision of the Faculty of Medicine: Through excellence, we will integrate education, research and social accountability to advance the health of the people and communities we serve.

The Program is also aligned with the Discipline of Family Medicine, whose mission is to guide the next generation of family doctors into practice.
