All of our EM faculty strive to provide high-quality learning experiences in both the clinical and non-clinical settings.

In our busy emergency departments, EM faculty regularly supervise undergraduate and postgraduate learners and help them navigate through a wide variety of presentations from minor complaints to high-acuity scenarios necessitating critical care.

In addition to our urban emergency department sites, we have a number of faculty who provide expert care at ED locations across Newfoundland and Labrador, and at sites outside the province in New Brunswick and PEI.

The Emergency Medicine residency training program is managed under the auspices of the Discipline of Family Medicine and currently trains five CCFP (EM) residents per year.

Our Emergency Medicine faculty provide extensive support to the program with respect to clinical, education, leadership, and research activities.
