By Division

Hematology

	Dr. Kirsty Tompkins, B.Sc, MD, FRCPC: Dr. Tompkins is the University co-lead for Memorial for CBD. She is currently working on a master’s degree in Medical Education from the University of Dundee, Scotland.  She is a member of the Innovation in Medical Education group. She is a member of the Curriculum Committee for Internal Medicine and is acting Division Chair for the Department of Haematology. She previously held the position of Internal medicine residency Program Director. Contact Dr. Tompkins to discuss CBD at Memorial.
	Dr. David Jones, MD, FRCPC: Dr. Jones is the Assistant Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency program. He is the Chair of the Curriculum committee for Internal Medicine and is the lead for the Work Based Assessment working group. Contact Dr. Jones to discuss the Internal Medicine residency program or the assessment tools for EPAs.
	Dr. Joanne Hickey, B.Sc, MD, FRCPC: Dr. Hickey is a member of the Curriculum committee for Internal Medicine. She is the lead for Curriculum Mapping EPAs for Internal Medicine CBD. She is a member of the Innovation in Medical Education group. Her previous academic work has included adoption of the ‘Integrated Spiral” curriculum for undergraduate medical school.  Contact Dr. Hickey to discuss EPA mapping in CBD.

Respirology

Dr. Gokul Vidyasankar, B.Eng, MD, FRCPC: Dr. Vidyasankar will be assuming the role of Chair of the Competence Committee. Dr. Vidysankar is a member of the Curriculum Committee for Internal Medicine. Contact Dr. Vidyasankar to discuss determination of competence for CBD.

Dr. Jamie Farrell, B.Sc, MD, FRCPC: Dr. Farrell is the current program director for the Internal Medicine Program at Memorial. He is a member of the Curriculum Committee and is dedicated to the adoption of CBD in Internal medicine at Memorial. Critical Care

Dr. Natalie Bandrauk, MDCM, M.Sc, FRCPC: Dr. Bandrauk is the Chair of the Internal Medicine Simulation Group and Simulation Curriculum Coordinator at Memorial. She holds a Masters Degree in Experimental Medicine (Biomedical Ethics) from McGill University, and is a graduate of the Harvard Macy Institute Program for Educators in Health Professions and the Harvard Center for Medical Simulation.

Dr. Bandrauk is a member of the Innovation in Medical Education group. She is a member of the Internal Medicine Curriculum Committee and is particularly interested in the use of SIM for EPA assessment and achievement. Please contact Dr. Bandrauk for questions regarding CBD and Simulation.

Gastroenterology

Dr. Ford Bursey, BMS, MD, FRCPC, FACP: Dr. Bursey is the Dean of Professional Development in the Faculty of Medicine. He has served as a member of the Steering Committee for the Future of Medical Education in Canada Postgraduate Project and is currently a member of the Steering Committee for CanMEDS 2015-Competence by Design project. He was a previous Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. His area of interest in Medical Education is Faculty Development, and he is a member of the Faculty Development working group for CBD. Cardiology

Dr. Brendan Parfrey, MD, FRCPC:  Dr. Parfrey is heavily involved in the Simulation Program for Internal Medicine at Memorial. He is a member of the Internal Medicine Curriculum Committee and is particularly interested in the use of SIM for EPA assessment and achievement. Endocrinology

Dr. Christine Orr, B.Sc., MD, M.Sc., FACP, FRCPC:  Dr. Orr has recently completed her Master of Science in Health Sciences Education at McMaster University. She is particularly interested in faculty development and coaching. She is a member of the Innovation in Medical Education group. She is a member of the Internal Medicine Curriculum committee, and is the lead for the faculty development subcommittee for Internal Medicine CBD. She is currently the discipline representative for Internal medicine for Continuing Professional Development.  Contact Dr. Orr to discuss faculty development for CBD.

Dr. Cathy Murray, M.Sc, MD, FRCPC:  Dr. Murray is the Chair of the Education Committee for Internal medicine. She holds a certificate in Medical Education from Memorial University.  Dr. Murray is a member of the Curriculum Committee for Internal Medicine. Nephrology

Dr. Ian Macpherson MD, FRCPC: Dr. Macpherson is currently completing a Master of Science in Health Sciences Education at McMaster University. He is a member of the Internal Medicine Curriculum Committee. He is a member of the Innovation in Medical Education group. Resident Champions

	Dr. James Quinlan MD: Dr. Quinlan is a PGY3 resident in the Internal Medicine Program. He is one of the Chief Residents and a member of the Curriculum Committee in Internal Medicine.  He is a member of the faculty development subcommittee. He looks forward to beginning a fellowship in GIM next year.
	Dr. Erica Kelly MD: Dr. Kelly is a PGY3 resident in the Internal Medicine Program and a member of the Curriculum Committee in Internal Medicine. She is the Internal Teaching Resident.  She is a member of the competency subcommittee. She looks forward to beginning a fellowship in GIM next year.
	Dr. Ashar Pirzada MD: Dr. Pirzada is a PGY2 resident in the Internal Medicine Program. He a member of the Curriculum Committee in Internal Medicine and is the incoming chief resident He is a member of the Faculty Development subcommittee and creator of the Internal medicine CBD newsletter.
	Dr. Michael Davis, B.Sc, MD: Dr. Davies is a PGY3 resident in the Internal Medicine Program. He is one of the Chief Residents and a member of the Curriculum Committee in Internal Medicine.  He is a member of the EPA mapping subcommittee. He looks forward to beginning a fellowship in Nephrology next year.
