The main theme of the course is the study of abstract topological
spaces and some basic topological properties. The topics of the course
include continuous functions, the notion of homeomorphism,
connectedness, compactness, countability and separation axioms,
Urysohn's metrization theorem, Complete metric spaces, and the
Tychonoff theorem.
