This course deals with singular homology and cohomology of topological
spaces. Topics include simplices, chain complexes, the
Eilenberg-Steered axioms, the Mayer-Vietoris sequence, cellular
homology, the cup product, the Kunneth formula, and an introduction to
manifolds and Poincare duality.
