The President's Office is located on the main floor of the Arts and Administration Building, St. John's campus.

The first president of Memorial University College was John Lewis Paton. His successor was Dr. Albert George Hatcher. When Memorial was granted university status in 1949, Hatcher became the first president of Memorial University.

Fourteen presidents have served Memorial since its founding in 1925.

1973-1981 - Dr. Moses Osbourne Morgan

1967-1973 - The Rt. Hon. the Lord Stephen Taylor of Harlow

1966-1967 - Moses Osbourne Morgan (pro tempore)

1952-1966 - Dr. Raymond Gushue

1933-1952 - Dr. Albert George Hatcher
