Accommodations

The Pye Centre is pleased to offer accommodations at our Farmhouse Research & Education Hub — a unique and immersive space for teaching and learning within Northern boreal food systems.

All accommodations and facilities at the Pye Centre exist primarily for use by Memorial staff and affiliates however consideration will be given to other applicants pending availability and purpose.

Note that a separate application is required for each consecutive time block you wish to stay. For example: If you would like to request to stay from June 7 - July 10, you would submit one application for June 7-21, and a separate application for July 1-10.

Policy and user agreement

  • Booking options and associated fees are listed in the "Rental Rates" section above.
  • Shared common areas include a full kitchen, sitting area, and laundry facilities.
  • Bedding, linens, and towels are NOT provided. Please arrange to bring these items with you.
  • An invoice will be forwarded upon departure using the communications method indicated on your application (email or mail). We accept debit, credit, cheque, or internal Memorial journal voucher.
  • On the day of your arrival, you will be sent a passcode to the front door and a passcode to your bedroom(s). To ensure security, passcodes are not to be shared or given to others.
  • Applications must be received at least 3 weeks in advance of planned arrival. Labrador Campus staff will assess the application, check availability, and notify applicants of results.
  • We require notice of cancellation (7 days minimum).

User responsibilities

  • Onsite housekeeping is not regularly provided. Cleaning is the responsibility of user(s) during your stay. All areas must be kept clean and tidy (cleaning supplies are on site).
  • Access and occupancy by approved users only; no overnight guests are permitted.
  • This is a shared use property. There are four bedrooms in the farmhouse, and parts of the house will regularly be used for teaching and community events. Please be respectful and mindful of others.
  • Check-in time is 4:00pm, and check-out time is 11:00am. 
  • Quiet hours are between 10:00pm - 7:00am.
