A bone knife handle with an iron blade, recovered during the excavation of the Métis dwelling at North River. The letters 'WI' carved on the handle may be part of 'Williams', the name of a Métis family who are shown on a map of 1872 as living in a house on this spot (photo by Matthew Beaudoin).
