Many of the stores and fishing stages that were once on the shores of Tilting are now gone, unable to stand up against seasonal storms. The stages that remain in the community are kept up by residents such as Dan Greene, who carries on the local fishing tradition through the knowledge he holds, and the tools and outbuildings that he possesses.
