Roddickton - Memory Rocks
Oliver Reid, husband of local quilter Marie Reid, is a craftsman and hunter. Before retirement, he primarily worked in Roddickton's forestry and sawmill industry. He now goes on hunting trips and makes craft objects such as handmade guitars. He designed and made guitars for each of his sons. He also has an interesting rock collection including several 'memory rocks.' These are rocks that he picked up during hunting trips, and then wrote dates and locations on them. This collection helps him to remember some of the places he has been over the years.
