Blood Work Clinic

The Department of Human Resources and the Student Wellness and Counselling Centre (SWCC) are partnering to offer blood work clinics for faculty, staff, retirees and students. For faculty, staff and retirees this is a cost-shared service whereby individuals pay $10 and HR will pay $10.  For students this service is free.

What is the cost?

This is a cost-shared service for faculty, staff and retirees.  It is free for students.

For each drop-in, a faculty, staff or retiree using the service will pay $10 and Human Resources will pay $10.

What is the location and time of the blood work clinic?

The Blood Work Clinic takes place in the University Centre, UC-5000. For up-coming dates and times, please check the HR events calendar.

What do I need to bring?

To have blood work done, a valid health care card (such as a MCP card) and a requisition form from a physician are required.

Are any other services offered other than bloodwork?

Urinalysis is also performed if your physician has it requested on your requisition form.

Who conducts this service?

Blood collection is performed by a phlebotomist at the SWCC.

Who can avail of this service?

This service is available to faculty, staff, retirees and students.
