The Films of Fogo Island Encore

In 1967 a film maker from the National Film Board of Canada and field worker from Memorial University made a series of 27 films on Fogo Island that pioneered the use of film as a community development tool.

Now, a documentary marking the 50th anniversary of the Fogo Process, The Films of Fogo Island, combines original footage with new interviews of the films' subjects.

Produced and directed by history professor Jeff Webb and filmmaker Derek Norman.

Screening on Saturday 6 April 1:30 pm Suncor Energy Hall.
