Luke Roman: "Poetry and Place in Renaissance Florence and Naples"
Friday 20 November, 3 pm, A-1049.
Luke Roman is a professor of Latin literature in the Department of Classics at
MUN. He is the author of Poetic Autonomy in Ancient Rome (2014) and translator
of the poetry of the Italian humanist Giovanni Giovano Pontano.
This lecture is part of the Medieval and Early Modern Research Group Lecture
Series.
