PhD candidate, Phillip Reid, will undergo his final oral examination on February 8 2017, at 1PM in IIC 2014, Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation.

Reid's PhD thesis, "A Very Good Sailer": Merchant Ship Technology and the Development of the British Atlantic Empire 1600-1800, will be examined externally by Dr. Warren Riess (University of Maine), and internally by Dr. Barry Gaulton (Archaeology) and Dr. Olaf Janzen (History).
