Department of History

Dr. Patrick Mannion, a MUN alumnus and current sessional instructor who has taught the History of Ireland Since the Great Famine in our department, has just published his first book, A Land of Dreams: Ethnicity, Nationalism, and the Irish in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Maine, 1880-1923, with McGill-Queen's University Press.
