Dr. Marica Cassis has a new publication in 'The Archaeology of Byzantine Anatolia: From the End of Late Antiquity until the Coming of the Turks', edited by Philipp Niewohner.

Dr. Cassis' chapter re-considers the role of Çadır Höyük, a settlement in rural Byzantine Anatolia, in the middle Byzantine period.
