Christine Ekholst visits Seminar Series
Christine Ekholst from University of Guelph will give a talk titled, “Weak Kings and Unruly Queens: Sexuality and Propaganda in Late Medieval Europe,” Brown Bag seminar, Friday 11 March, 1 pm, A-4004, light refreshments to follow.
Dr. Christine Ekholst holds a PhD from Stockholm University, Sweden, and teaches medieval European history at the University of Guelph, Ont. She is interested in the intersection of gender, political, and legal history and is the author of A Punishment for Each Criminal: Gender and Crime in Swedish Medieval Law (Leiden: Brill, 2014).
