Updated Health and Safety Orientation

EHS has developed an orientation for low risk contractors and other guests or visitors who may be coming to campus.  The access to campus health and safety orientation is available here and should be reviewed to ensure a healthy and safe work, teaching and learning environment.

Memorial is one step closer to being able to save lives after a SCA. EHS will be installing 60 additional automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in buildings around campus. 

“In terms of first aid equipment the AED would be the most valuable piece of equipment to have. AEDs do save lives."

Safety moment

Did you know that since 2006, 380 carbon monoxide deaths have been reported by Health Canada and there have been nine fatalities due to the improper storage of wood pellets?
