Formerly used for drying grain, this four-storey, converted 19th century building, is now fully modernized and houses our main offices. Within this building you'll additionally find:

Portals Hall: Offering a spacious dining/common hall for all guests.

Common Room: A large, comfortable, shared room for relaxation featuring couches, TV, games, guitars and a piano.

Laundry Room: Providing front-loading, coin-operated washing machines and dryers at a cost of £2.00 per wash and £1.50 per dry. Also available are irons/ironing boards on request.

Student kitchens: The Maltings offers three fully equipped student kitchens providing food storage, cooking facilities and a small dining area.

Resources Room: Houses the library/study suite. The room features a quiet space containing study cubicles and comfortable seating. 

Bedroom arrangements are as follows:

All large single occupancy rooms have the option to be converted into a small twin room

• All rooms are equipped with en-suite shower and toilets facilities.
• Each room includes multiple storage spaces with a luggage storage located at the top floor.  
• Our standard single is a purpose-designed wheelchair-accessible bedroom with en-suite shower, toilet and accessible working desk.
