Current Research:

My new research project, “Floating in Settler-Colonial Spaces: Life Narratives of the Floater Fishery in Newfoundland and Labrador,” will draw on my ancestry and the stories of my family, along with stories of women whose work was essential, but often overlooked, in this fishery.  The processes and products of this industry linked multiple communities in NL, but also multiple cultures and continents in the Atlantic World through the trade of salt fish.
