In Microsoft Excel Level 3, participants will build confidence and mastery in their skills. Filled with practical instruction and ample practice, participants will learn to consolidate, validate, and forecast data. They will learn to use data validation tools to maintain data integrity. Participants will learn how to use Look Up and Reference functions with large data sets and how to combine formulas and functions to add automation to workbooks. Participants will leave the course with the ability to use the software to drive greater efficiency, reduce errors and make confident decisions using data-driven insights.

This course is part of the Mastering Microsoft Excel Program.
This course requires intermediate knowledge and experience with MS Excel. Participants must have a working understanding of the following:
- How to open, save and print workbooks.
- Formatting cell contents (i.e. font face, size, color)
- Formatting cells (i.e. boarders, fill)
- Formatting numbers (i.e. time, date, currency)
- Absolute and relative cell references
- Excel formula syntax and operators (i.e. multiplication, division, addition)
- Enter a variety of functions in Excel with ease (i.e. statistical, logical)
- Please note: Knowledge of tables is not required; however, this concept is covered in Excel 2.
If you are unsure of your level of knowledge and experience with Excel as it pertains to this course, please use the Microsoft Excel Placement Self-Assessment to determine which level you should begin with.
NOTE: This is an interactive session. Participants must have Microsoft Excel 2016, Microsoft Excel 365, (or compatible version) installed on their laptop.
