The university does not engage the services of one particular real estate company or property management company. Information on real estate firms and property management companies can be found in the yellow pages of the local telephone directory or the local Yellow Pages website.
Whether renting or buying, it is considered advisable to have either tenant or homeowner insurance to protect property against theft, fire or natural disaster.
Short-term Accommodations
Sabbatical Homes may assist faculty members on Sabbatical to rent their home during their leave. Faculty members may use this site to list their own home for rent.
Renting
Finding suitable rental accommodations can take some time depending on the time of year, rental preferences and area(s) in which you would like to rent. Many rental properties require a lease of one year and do not include utilities (heat and light) in the monthly rent.
