On June 22, 2017, Memorial University entered into an agreement with Honeywell for the second phase of an Energy Performance Contract (EPC). The EPC focused on energy-efficient solutions designed to upgrade facilities, reduce operating costs, improve indoor air quality, and reduce environmental emissions. 

Together with EPC, Memorial implemented measures and strategies across Memorial's St. John's and Grenfell campuses to conserve energy, reduce utility costs and decrease greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. You can get involved and make sustainability more attainable as we continue to encourage a university-wide culture aimed at conservation and sustainability.
