Facilities Management requires a short power outage affecting normal power to several St. John’s campus buildings. The outage is required to complete work associated with electrical infrastructure and the installation of two new electric boilers at the Utilities Annex and is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, September 11^th at 6:30 a.m. Outage durations and affected buildings are as follows:

Time: 6:30 a.m. to 6:40 a.m.

Duration: 10 minutes

Buildings Affected: 

• Engineering & Applied Sciences
• National Research Centre
• Earth Sciences Building
• University Centre

Building occupants are advised that the buildings listed above will be closed for the duration of the outage, and to make arrangements to shut down all computer equipment prior to the outage. Emergency building power, on those buildings with emergency power, will not be affected.
