Facilities Management advises a section of sidewalk outside the Core Science Facility Pavilion A, adjacent to Arctic Avenue will be closed to pedestrians starting Tuesday, June 9, 2026. A sketch showing the impacted area and alternate pedestrian route can be found here. Pedestrian north-south travel via the Clinch Crescent sidewalk will not be affected and will remain open. This closure is required to complete excavation work to facilitate the Primary Data Centre Replacement project. It is expected that this section of sidewalk will be re-opened as of Wednesday, September 9, 2026. A further communication will be issued if there is a change to this re-opening date.
