Ali is a Ph.D. student in Oil and Gas Engineering at Memorial University. His research focus is on the modelling of asphaltene-inhibitors on a molecular scale using advanced computation chemistry. He has been in MUN SPE since 2019 in different positions such as Vice President. He has helped and organized many technical and recreational events for SPE. He is also Executive Director of Academic at Graduate Students' Union at MUN. He is graduated with a Master's and Bachelor's in Reservoir Engineering as a first-ranked and second-ranked student at Shiraz University (Iran), respectively. He was a distinguished master's student and won the educational award of the Iran National Elites Foundation in 2017. He is highly interested in doing sports such as hiking, ping-pong and swimming and watching movies.
