Teaching and Learning Commons
The Teaching and Learning Commons (TLC) is a learning centre for professionals created to support teacher candidates in their academic programs. This technology-rich, open-concept space is located on the fifth floor of the Education Building in close proximity to regular learning spaces. Comfortable spaces for collaborative work and technologies for teaching and learning (e.g. SMART boards, digital projection equipment, and video/audio editing stations) are provided. Multimedia support for different approaches to teaching and learning is available whenever the Commons is open. This lively, engaging space is designed to accommodate student discussion and group work, innovative projects and seminars.
