Annual Reports

Every fall, the EDI-AR office releases a report of its activities over the previous year. These reports are shared with the Memorial University community at the annual Community Table Talk events. View Annual Reports.

Anti Racism Report 2024-2025

Seeking to centre Black voices in Memorial’s institutional conversations on equity and inclusion, the EDI-AR office led a community consultation that engaged more than 100 Black students, faculty, staff, and senior university leaders across the St. John’s, Grenfell, and Signal Hill campuses, as well as the Marine Institute. Employee Resource Groups and Affinity Groups Report

This report examines how ERGs and AGs operate across Canadian universities and colleges, what they enable, and what they require to be effective and sustainable. It provides evidence for how these groups are formed, governed, and supported within institutions. View the report.

Strategic Planning Reports

International and Racialized Student Consult

In November 2023, two dialogue sessions designed to learn about the lived and living experiences of racialized and international students at all of Memorial's university campuses were conducted by the EDI-AR office. View the report.
