Since its inception in December 2019, the EDI-AR portfolio builds on and, where applicable, enhances the work of other and/or pre-existing EDI-AR entities across Memorial.

Through the careful and intentional implementation of the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism Strategic Plan (in development), Memorial can help set the standard for how a university campus looks and feels. The goal is that everyone who comes into contact with any part of the university feels valued, welcomed, and honoured, and sees a reflection of themselves embedded in all areas of Memorial.
