Congratulations to Derek Messacar, Adjunct Professor with our department who is actively working on applied research issues with some of our faculty and our students. He will be a visiting scholar at the Retirement and Savings Institute of HEC Montréal (business school of Université de Montréal) this Fall, from October 2nd to 17th. While in that position, he will represent both the Dept. of Economics at MUN and Stats Canada by listing both affiliations.
