Thesis Title: Applicability of geochemical signatures in the paleoenvironmental interpretation of shales from offshore Nova Scotia.
Supervisor(s): Dr. Karem Azmy
Other: I completed my B.Sc. with a specialization in Geological Sciences at Queen’s University, where I focused on the study of carbonate rocks and paleontology. I am currently working towards my M.Sc., focusing on the use of geochemical analysis to determine paleoredox conditions, terrigenous input, and paleoproductivity patterns. I also work with Traveling Geologist, a science outreach organization that aims to provide a platform for geologists to share and connect via the Traveling Geologist blog and the Geology Podcast Network.
