Fall 2023 message
COVID-19 precautions during the semester
Memorial would like to remind the campus community of COVID-19 precautions to ensure healthy and safe campuses this fall semester. Please be considerate of those around you and understand that not everyone has the same level of comfort when living with COVID-19.
Memorial is committed to the health and safety practices that have been proven to keep the community safe and our decisions continue to be guided by advice and recommendations from the provincial government. If you test positive for COVID-19, please follow public health guidelines. Stay at home until your symptoms have improved and you haven’t had a fever for at least 24 hours. When you feel better and leave home you should wear a mask outside your household for 10 days after the onset of your symptoms.
Masks are available throughout campuses in designated locations. Rapid test kits are also available to members of the campus community at designated locations.
Memorial will be offering vaccine clinics and flu shot clinics later in the fall semester. More information will follow with specific dates, locations and instructions for registration.
