Program Delivery
The TSEP for Educators is a free, eight-week program offered on the St. John’s campus.
Participants will engage with online content in Brightspace and attend weekly 90-minute synchronous sessions. During the program, participants will engage in group discussions, reflect on and write about teaching practices, and provide one another with formative feedback. Learning activities will include reading scholarly articles, contributing to discussions, designing materials to facilitate learning, and practically revising teaching and learning materials for future course offerings. To achieve the program’s learning outcomes, active participation in both the online environment and the in-person sessions is necessary.
At the end of the program, participants will submit a learning portfolio that can be included in their teaching dossier to document their ongoing development of and commitment to effective teaching. Participants will also receive a Certificate of Completion.
