Student Remote Experience Survey, Winter 2021
Similar to the Fall 2020 semester, this winter most face-to-face courses will again be delivered online with instructors teaching remotely. In an effort to learn from students' experiences in the fall and plan for improvements, Memorial University conducted another student survey.
The survey was developed by CITL in conjunction with the OCIO, Office of the Provost, Student Life, Registrar's Office and CIAP, with guidance from from faculty, school and campus representatives, and feedback provided by students. It ran from October 23 to November 4, 2020.
Open to students who took courses in the Fall 2020 semester and are eligible to register for the Winter 2021 semester, the survey asked a range of questions that cover technological capabilities, communication and student supports.
Instructors may find these results helpful to inform their plans for teaching remotely this winter.
