The Classroom Studio provides instructors with self-directed, on-campus video production support.

How it works

Recordings are done in a multimedia classroom in the G.A. Hickman (Education) building, where you can access readily available classroom technology including:

• Document camera
• Desktop computer (MUN login)
• Laptop connector cable
• Whiteboard

Based on the concept of a self-service production studio, instructors are responsible for preparing presentation material and operating the classroom technology.

You can record one video or an entire series. CITL staff will take care of recording, editing (if needed) and delivery of the finished product. Video recordings will be uploaded to our streaming server and made available to embed into your Brightspace course site.

Contact our Support Centre to book a recording session today. Please indicate you would like a video recording request. You will be contacted by our Media Services team to discuss your request, answer any questions and schedule a time for your recording.
