Learning Technology Index

CITL assists the university community with the investigation, identification and integration of learning technologies for teaching and learning purposes.

The Learning Technology Index identifies software and web services evaluated by CITL staff with the intention to help users quickly assess the qualities of the tool or service to meet a pedagogical, technical or social aspect within their teaching practice.

Detailed descriptions of each software/service include:

  • Definition of the tool.
  • Reasons to use the tool.
  • How the tool works.
  • How to access support.
  • Considerations for use.
  • A detailed rating against our Rubric for Learning Technology Evaluation, which evaluates the software/service against criteria related to its functional, technical and pedagogical aspects.
