Active Learning Classrooms

Engaging, Inclusive and Future Ready

Active Learning Classrooms (ALCs) are designed to seamlessly transition between traditional lectures and facilitated group work, fostering an interactive and adaptable learning environment. These spaces promote group collaboration and one-on-one interactions, allowing students to engage with both their peers and instructors in meaningful ways.

By creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, ALCs welcome and connect learners from all backgrounds, reinforcing a culture of acceptance and belonging. The dynamic nature of these classrooms enhances student engagement and motivation, leading to a deeper and longer-lasting understanding of course material. In addition, the collaborative and technology-integrated design prepares students for the real-world professional environments they will encounter during their careers. This experience helps equip them with the skills needed for teamwork, problem-solving and effective communication.
